Tie. Tie. Tie.

Karman Gill
(Grade 8)

From the author:

I was inspired to write about the reality of a problem that I have seen girls face but is not talked about enough. I have seen news articles but not many that acknowledge and address the problem. This is what inspired me to write a story of reality and hope. I wrote fiction as a way to open conversation about this problem, to address a problem that should not be ignored.
