They are developed and taught by award-winning instructors, including (VISST) teachers, PhDs and professionals, who bring their extensive knowledge and expertise to each program. The instructors are committed to ensuring that each student has a meaningful and enriching learning experience. The curriculum is designed to be dynamic and adaptable, allowing students to learn at their own pace and explore their interests.

Upcoming Camps and Workshops
Math Club
Math Club is a place for like-minded, motivated upper elementary students to come together and experience a fresh, engaging, and challenging approach to math. The format: before each class, students will be asked to watch a short YouTube math video from a widely respected and beloved math channel such as Numberphile, Stand-up Maths, or Vi Hart. We will be selecting videos that cover an unexpected or intriguing mathematical idea which is challenging but accessible. During class, we will unpack the video as a group and then students will engage in hands-on activities that reenact, extend, or challenge the video. Afterward, students will receive practice problems and a difficult challenge problem for students to mull over at home between sessions.
Students can join the Club at any time!
Choose from 2 different times: Sunday Morning Math Club (10:00 - 11:30am every other Sunday) or Sunday Afternoon Math Club (12:30 - 2:00pm every other Sunday).
For students in grades 5-7.

Spring Break Camp
VISST is proud to invite girls in grade 6/7 to a special Spring Break camp — our first ever Creative Technology and Design for Girls! Thanks to a generous donation from Judi Hess, this subsidized, knowledge-packed camp will be a week-long experience where students will immerse themselves in two forms of creative technology: Computer Numeric Controlled Tool Fabrication and Game Development and Coding.
We will also be awarding two $1,000 scholarships towards Grade 8 VISST tuition for the best projects.
